Sarah DeSante
DVM, DABVP
Primary Clinic: Salinas
Sarah is from Portsmouth, New Hampshire and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at a very young age. Her love and admiration for horses is what drove her toward equine specialty practice.
Sarah moved to California in 2010 to pursue an internship at Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic. Once finished, she completed an ABVP (Equine) residency through the clinic and has since stayed on as an associate. She has a particular interest in diagnostic imaging and has completed numerous courses in musculoskeletal ultrasonography. She also has a passion for reproduction, ophthalmology, and preventative medicine.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys hiking with her dog Wyatt, snowboarding, and riding her horse Toni.
