Kimberly Lotfy

Kimberly grew up in Belmont, CA, but spent most of her youth on the coast near Half Moon Bay — with horses. She started riding when she was just 8 years old. After spending seven years working with horses and teaching children how to ride and about the overall care and wellbeing of horses, Kimberly decided to focus her career in the equine veterinary industry. She spent a year working toward her associates degree at the College of San Mateo, then decided to take the opportunity to work as a veterinary assistant at Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics in order to increase her knowledge and learn and grow in the industry. Kimberly rides Western and has done some barrel racing and Western Dressage. She has a dun Quarter horse mare, as well as a dog and a cat. When she’s not working, Kimberly enjoys being outdoors, going on scenic drives, and riding, reporting that trail riding is her “happy place.”
